Free Course on Software Product Management
Why to learn product management?
Product management is a new and interesting profession, which can open new opportunities, especially in the IT field. Product manager acts as a hub for potential customers' needs, business needs and work of technical team. In parallel with the development of IT sphere in Armenia, the demand of product managers is increasing, as the product managers will undertake the responsibility of the above-mentioned functions and will enable developers focus only on technical implementation. Any IT company, irrespective of whether it has its own product or is based on outsourcing, has the need of a product manager.
About the course
Within the 'Boosting Technological Development in Shirak Marz' program, Microsoft Innovation Center Armenia and Gyumri Information Technologies Center will organize free course, through which you will gain a new profession, which currently has huge demand, understand the whole process of product development, learn all important stages, develop your communications and management skills both within team, as well as with clients and customers. The three-month program is free and designed only for young people of Shirak marz. It will take place in the Gyumri Technology Center.
The program is funded by the European Union and RA Ministry of Territorial Administration and Development.

Who can apply?
Those, who meet the following criteria, can apply:
- A citizen of Shirak marz;
- A person of 17 - 35 years old;
- Unemployed (Registered at State employment agency)
- Higher or secondary education or student of the third or fourth year
- English proficiency of upper intermediate level
- An army service certificate (for male applicants).
All applicants will need to pass a test, checking their English language level and an interview. The test and interview will take place in February.
How to Apply?
Fill out the application form below by February 17, 2019, 23:59.
In addition to the application, interested people will need to submit the following documents to Gyumri Information Technologies Center (GITC) at GTC, Gai 1, Gyumri, Armenia by February 20, 2019, 18:00.
- Copy of passport (first and second pages) or identification card;
- Copy of social security card;
- Certificate from State Employment Agency;
- Diploma of higher/secondary education or reference from the university, which indicates the profession, year of study and their progress (for students)
- Copy of certificate of disability (if available);
- Copy of certificate of army service (for male candidates);
Incomplete applications will not be considered. Upon the submission of the whole package we will contact for test and interview.
