As a parent, you might be concerned about the amount of time your children spend playing games on their computers or phones. What if you could turn that screen time into a productive and educational activity?
Microsoft Innovation center excited to announce Game Development with Scratch summer camp! This summer, we are offering an incredible opportunity for teenagers who are passionate about game development. This camp is designed to help your child to transform from playing games to creating them.
With Scratch, your children can use their screen time to develop valuable skills. Instead of just playing games, they can learn how to create them. This hands-on experience in coding helps them understand the mechanics behind the games they love.
This course is designed to introduce teenagers to the exciting world of programming and game development using Scratch, a beginner-friendly, visual programming language. Throughout the camp, participants will engage in a variety of hands-on projects that will take them from basic programming concepts to creating their own games. Each section of the course builds on the previous one, ensuring that participants gain a solid understanding of programming concepts while working on increasingly complex and exciting projects. By the end of the camp, participants will have a portfolio of games they've created, showcasing their skills and creativity. Join us this summer and transform your screen time into a productive and educational experience with Scratch!
The Game Development with Scratch Summer Camp is open to all teenagers (10-15 years old) who have a passion for programming and game development. Whether your child is completely new to coding or has some prior experience, this camp is designed to cater to all skill levels and provide a fun, educational, and transformative experience.
